Independence Blue Cross announces 2025 benefits for large employers

Comprehensive health plans offer flexibility and savings

Independence Blue Cross (IBX) announces its 2025 commercial medical and prescription drug product health plans for large employers headquartered in southeastern Pennsylvania with 51 or more employees.

The 2025 IBX portfolio includes new and existing medical, pharmacy, specialty services, behavioral health, and wellness benefits available upon renewal for fully insured and self-funded groups starting January 1, 2025.

New for 2025

• Product portfolio. Four new PPO health plans provide lower deductible options. One of those new plans allows members to choose a virtual primary care provider through Teladoc Health.
• Vision network. An expanded IBX vision network that includes popular retail providers, including Warby Parker*, Target Optical, and Pearle Vision.**
• HSA health plans. A preventive drug list waiver for all IBX high-deductible health standard plans (HDHP) with a health savings account (HSA), allowing members to have access to preventive medications at $0 - making it easier for them to receive the medications they need at a more affordable price. IBX also offers fully insured employer groups HSA health plans at a $0 monthly administrative cost.
• Wellness Reimbursement Program. Member reimbursement for the cost of yoga studio fees through the Wellness Reimbursement Program.
• Behavioral health. An expanded behavioral health network with increased access to traditional and virtual services. In addition, IBX Behavioral Health Care Advocates can schedule appointments for members or connect members to these providers, usually within seven days or less.
