Fatal Crash Investigation in Hampton Falls

HAMPTON FALLS, N.H. - On July 14, 2024, at approximately 3:40 a.m., State Police Troopers from the Troop A Barracks and the Hampton Falls Fire Department responded to a call for a vehicle fire on Exeter Road in the Town of Hampton Falls. Upon arrival, it was determined that it was a single-vehicle crash involving a Subaru Impreza sedan, and the fire was fully involved. Once the fire was extinguished, it was determined that the operator was the only person in the vehicle and was deceased. After reviewing the scene, it did not appear that anyone else was involved in the crash. At this time, the identity of the driver is being withheld while State Police work to confirm their identity and notify the next of kin.

Exeter Road in Hampton Falls between Brown Road and Parsonage Road was closed for approximately 4 ½ hours. State Police was assisted on scene by Hampton Falls Fire/EMS, the NH Fire Marshal's Office, and NH DOT.

Speed appears to be a factor in this crash, however all aspects are still under investigation. State Police is asking for anyone who has information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact Trooper Patrick Vetter at [email protected], or State Police Dispatch at 603-223-4381.
