GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. This MARADMIN announces changes to
reference (a). The update to the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Selective
Retention Bonus (SRB) Program supports the Service's multi-cohort
retention efforts, Fleet Marine Force requirements, and provides
Marines with proven performance and desired skills an opportunity
to reenlist earlier in their careers.
2. Background. Other than the changes outlined in section 3, all
FY25 SRB authorities remain in effect, per reference (a).
3. Eligibility. This MARADMIN broadens the reenlistment eligible
population, updates specified Primary Military Occupational
Specialties (PMOS) eligibility, and SRB amounts as detailed below:
3.a. Marines whose expiration of current contract is within FY25
and FY26 (1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026).
3.b. Marines submitting for reenlistment in the following
PMOS will now receive the SRB amounts listed below as applicable
upon reenlistment:
(1) Zone A PMOS Eligibility.

3.c. The service has met retention goals and exceeded required
health metrics for the below PMOS, Marines submitting for
reenlistment in the below PMOS after release of this MARADMIN will
no longer be eligible to receive the SRB amounts listed in
paragraph 5 of reference (a):

3.d. Marines selected on the Commandant's Retention Program
in an affected PMOS who elect to transition to another PMOS will be
offered an expedited lateral-move process by contacting Master
Sergeant Clifford Foster, Manpower Management Enlisted Assignments
(MMEA-1) by phone at (703)-432-9120 or by email at
[email protected] as outlined in paragraph 7.a. of
refence (f).
4. Coordinating Instructions. The FY25 SRB Program statement of
understanding is available for download from the Total Force
Retention System and the Enlisted Retention Manpower page.
References (a) through (d) contain amplifying instructions for the
execution of enlisted bonus payments.
5. If SRB funds are obligated faster than currently planned or
there is a change in retention requirements, Headquarters United
States Marine Corps will suspend or terminate the FY25 SRB Program
as required prior to 30 September 2025.
6. This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve.
