NBAA BACE Set to Open With Record Breaking Tax Conference Attendance

Las Vegas, NV, Oct. 18, 2024 - The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today reported that a record number of attendees will be taking part in the 2024 NBAA Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference, which takes place Oct. 20-21, prior to the opening of the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).

More than 350 professionals are expected to attend the conference, regarded as the industry standard in providing actionable insights on tax, regulatory and risk-management compliance for attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, CFOs and flight operations professionals.

The coming year is expected to be especially significant for aviation tax professionals, given the plan announced by the IRS to audit dozens of companies using business aviation. The agency has already issued a series of rigorous audits - a move that has alarmed some industry experts, with one recently calling it "something industry hasn't seen before."

The year has brought other onerous tax proposals from Washington, including needless changes to depreciation schedules, a five-fold fuel tax increase and more.
