2025 Proposed Budget Available for Review

Peoria County has released its 2025 recommended budget. It is available to view online at https://www.peoriacounty.org/395/Budget-Information.

Peoria County Board Members will review and discuss the proposed budget at committee meetings on October 28 and 29. The budget is then tentatively slated to go before the full Peoria County Board at their November 14 meeting. Highlights include fully funded IMRF (pension) obligations, completion of the Health & Human Services building, and funding of infrastructure projects through the County's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocation.

"The recommended budget for fiscal year 2025 is a reflection of the Peoria County Board's dedication to fiscal responsibility and transparency," said Peoria County Administrator Scott Sorrel. "Our team has worked diligently to ensure that we are optimizing tax dollars for the benefit of our community while continuing to invest in our long-term strategic priorities."
