BPD in the Community: Boston Police Ice Cream Truck Receives Over 1,000 Requests Throughout the Summer

As the leaves begin to change, we want to take a moment to celebrate the sweet success of our BPD Ice Cream Truck, which has been a beacon of joy throughout the summer!

From neighborhood block parties to back-to-school events, this iconic truck has brought smiles and sweet treats to thousands across Boston. Since the beginning of 2024, our officers have fulfilled more than a thousand requests, creating moments of connection and community in every corner of the city.

A huge shoutout to our incredible partners at HP Hood and the Boston Police Foundation for keeping the scoops coming and the smiles growing!
