Stevens Pass Kicking Off 2024/25 Ski & Ride Season One Week Earlier Than Planned

Stevens Pass, Wash. - November 25, 2024 - Thanks to early-season snowfall, Stevens Pass is thrilled to officially welcome skiers and snowboarders back for the 2024/25 ski and ride season one week earlier than planned, on Friday, November 29. With the season officially starting early, now is the perfect time to lock in access to Stevens Pass, Whistler Blackcomb, and other world-class resorts before Epic Passes go off sale on December 2.

With more than 65" inches of snow, lifts will open this Friday at 9am, with Daisy, Hogsback, Skyline, and Brooks spinning. Guests can enjoy an early-season terrain package featuring guest favorites like Rock N Blue, Barrier Ridge, Broadway, and more. As snowfall continues through the season, Stevens Pass will expand its terrain offerings, giving guests more opportunities to enjoy the adventure and natural beauty the resort is known for. We'll kick off opening day in style in the base area with live beats from DJ Myztic, free hot chocolate in the morning, and awesome giveaways to keep the vibes flying high.

"We're so excited to kick off the 2024/25 ski and ride season a full week earlier than planned," said Ellen Galbraith, VP & GM of Stevens Pass. "With the recent snowfall we received and a promising forecast for this winter, we are looking forward to another fantastic season. The team here has been working incredibly hard, and we are all ready to welcome our community back for another amazing season at Stevens Pass."

New this winter, Stevens Pass is providing choices for guests when it comes to parking by introducing a combination of free and paid parking options on weekends and peak periods, with a focus on reservations and carpooling incentives. The reservations-based parking program will kick off the first weekend of December for select lots. More details can be found on the "Getting Here & Parking" page of the Stevens Pass website. As always, carpooling is highly recommended any time guests visit the resort. Reservations will be required for specific lots during weekends and peak periods starting December 7.

This season will be packed with exciting events and activities. Highlights include the second annual Women's Weekend, an avalanche dog demonstration with a meet-and-greet, and the always-popular Springfest featuring a pond skim and community fair to close out the season. Live music makes a return with Foggy Fridays and a live DJ on Thursday nights for Dew After Dark + College Nights. Check the Stevens Pass events page for a detailed schedule.

Guests can also look forward to an exciting array of on-mountain dining options this season. Pacific Cantina will debut a fresh new menu item: flavorful fiesta rice bowls. Meanwhile, the Iron Goat Pizzeria will bring guest favorites, crispy chicken tenders and fry baskets, to the Pacific Crest Lodge. The Bull's Tooth now offers even more to enjoy. Alongside our delicious lunch selection, we're introducing a dinner menu this season, bringing guests fresh and exciting options in the evening during night operations. The Foggy Goggle Mug Club is back for another season! Starting on opening day, guests can snag a collectible mug for $75-but act fast, as quantities are limited. Mug Club members can then enjoy $6 beverages all season long at Foggy Goggle, making it the perfect way to toast to another great winter. All three lodges will be open on opening day, serving up good vibes and great food at Pacific Cantina, Foggy Goggle, T-Bar, Cascadian Kitchen, and Bull's Tooth.

Stevens Pass offers ski and snowboard lessons for all ages and levels, which are now available to reserve online, along with equipment rentals. In addition to private and group lessons, there are several returning and new programs this season including adult coaching programs like Her Turn, Outer Limits Camp with Ingrid Backstrom, and Conditions Coaching. Skiers and riders have just seven days left to save up to 65% compared to lift ticket prices before Epic Day Passes go off sale for the season. All Epic Passes, including Epic Day Passes, are only available until December 2, providing the best value for guests planning to ski or ride even just one day this season. Lift tickets will be limited every day during the 2024/25 season in order to preserve the guest experience at each resort.

Returning this season with new features is the My Epic app with Mobile Pass and Mobile Lift Tickets. The My Epic App allows guests to use their phone as their ticket to the slopes. Mobile Lift Tickets is a hands-free option for skiers and riders to use for the 2024/25 season. By using the app, guests can buy their pass or lift ticket online, activate it in the app, put their phone in their pocket, and get scanned, hands free in the lift line using Bluetooth® technology designed for low energy usage to minimize the impact on a phone's battery life. New this season, the My Epic app will include the Find My Friends feature, allowing skiers and riders to share their location with friends and family on the mountain. The My Epic app also offers a range of guest-favorite features, including interactive trail maps, and mountain and resort alerts, including operational information like grooming updates, terrain status, snow reports and conditions.

Guests can use the My Epic app for daily updates and real-time information, along with other important news throughout the season - once in the app, look for the bell in the top right corner to see a feed of real-time guest alerts. Guests can also learn about the latest on our teams' social channels: Instagram, Facebook, and Resort X.
