New Coverage for Audiology
TO: Hospital Outpatient Providers
RE: New Coverage for Audiology
Effective October 1, 2024, the Alabama Medicaid Agency will initiate outpatient coverage for the following procedure codes:
92651 - Evaluation of brain response to sound for determination of hearing status with interpretation and report.
92652 - Evaluation of brain response to sound for determination of hearing threshold with interpretation and report.
92653 - Evaluation of brain response to sound for diagnosis of nervous system disorders with interpretation and report.
