Minister of Awqaf inspects the development works of Al Sayyida Aisha Mosque and Al Masabh Mosque

Professor Dr. Osama Al Azhari - Minister of Awqaf (Endowments), inspected the ongoing maintenance and development works at Al-Sayyida Aisha Mosque (May God Be Pleased with Her) and Al Masabh Mosque in Al Sayyida Aisha Square in southern Cairo, which are being implemented by the Arab Contractors Company. The Minister directed that all obstacles and difficulties should be overcome and the work be accomplished according to the highest standards, so that it may be a beacon that guides people to the straightest path, and so that it may be open with light, mercy, spirituality, and safety for all its visitors. The Minister was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Hesham Abdel Aziz Ali - Head of the Religious Sector, Dr. Abdullah Hassan - Assistant Minister for Follow-up Affairs, Eng. Magdy Abu Eid - General Manager of Engineering Affairs, Dr. Khaled Salah El Din - Manager of Cairo Endowments Department, and Eng. Samah El Sayed Fawzy - Manager of the Engineering Department at Cairo Endowments. He was received by Eng. Hany Maher - Manager of Palaces and Monuments Restoration Department, Eng. Ashraf Abu Alam - Projects Manager, Eng. Abdel Rahman Reda - Project Manager of Al Sayyida Aisha Mosque, and Mr. Hossam El Din Mohamed from the Engineering Department of the Directorate and the Works Supervisor. It is worth noting that the development works of Al Sayyida Aisha Mosque, which are being implemented by the Arab Contractors, include fine restoration works on the ceiling decorations for men's and women's prayer halls, the sistle, and the dome of the shrine, restoration works on the interior elements of the mosque (doors - windows - mashrabiyas "oriel windows "- marble); in addition to developing and upgrading the efficiency of the restrooms (men and women), audio and camera works, fire-fighting, landscape, and the external wall. The works of Al Masabh Mosque include dismantling the minaret and structurally supporting the foundations using micropiles, then reassembling them, in addition to restoration work on the facades and some of the interior elements.
