Admissions Hiring New Admissions Counselor

The admissions counselor is a critical role within the UAA Enrollment Services department. This position involves guiding prospective students through the admissions process. You will build relationships with students, school counselors and community representatives, and analyze admissions recruitment data to assist UAA in the goal of providing quality education. The Enrollment Services department as whole serves UAA by providing student services focusing on enrollment, admissions, financial aid and more.

To thrive in this role, a successful applicant would possess strong written communication skills as evidenced by application materials.

Prior experience with public speaking as evidenced by application materials. Experience with reporting, data entry, and the ability to travel in and out of state and to remote Alaska locations. You will also need the ability to work with populations from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
