Film enthusiasts, tickets still available for Oct. 19 NorCal Film Expo in Sacramento

Film enthusiasts and aspiring creatives are invited to the second annual NorCal Film Expo from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center (1401 K Street).

This event, hosted by Camera Kitchen Rentals and Imported Studios in partnership with the City of Sacramento's Film + Media Office, aims to support Northern California professionals, inspire the next generation of storytellers, and foster growth and learning within the local filmmaking industry.

"I am pleased to support the NorCal Film Expo as it returns this year to its new location at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center," said Sacramento Film Commissioner Jennifer West. "We're excited to bring together film offices from Sacramento, San Francisco, Placer North Lake Tahoe, and El Dorado South Lake Tahoe to welcome and connect with filmmakers from all across Northern California."

The event offers a unique opportunity for attendees of all skill levels to explore the latest technologies and services in the film, animation, VFX, and gaming industries, network with professionals, learn from industry experts, and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge gear.

This year's expo will showcase innovative tech on the show floor, including cinema cameras, motion capture equipment, Unreal virtual production, and specialized camera cars used on film sets.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in tutorials, view vendor presentations, and engage in Q&A sessions to deepen their understanding of the mechanics behind the latest filmmaking technologies. A panel discussion featuring some of Northern California's leading and emerging filmmakers will also provide valuable insights into the film industry.
