Wilson Statement of Sympathy to Families of Hostages Killed by Hamas

Washington, DC - Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC), Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia made the following statement of sympathy to families of hostages killed by Hamas:

"My sympathy to the families of the six hostages, including American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who were murdered by Hamas terrorists acting on behalf of the regime in Tehran. This tragically reveals the irresponsibility of Kamala Harris in calling for delays on Israeli Defense Forces entering Rafah, allowing the murders. Capitulation by the Biden and Harris administration puts all American families at risk with 13 murdered Americans at Abbey Gate, and the Americans murdered January 28th by Iranian terrorist puppets in Jordan. Sadly, this administration has set a devastating precedent of rewarding hostage taking of American civilians around the world due to weakness and complete loss of deterrence. Voters this year have a choice of Peace Through Strength as achieved by Donald Trump or War Through Weakness as now conducted by war criminal Putin, the regime in Tehran, and the Chinese Communist Party plotting murderous expansion."
