In observance of Thanksgiving Day, some city of Aurora locations will be closed or have adjusted hours Thursday, Nov. 28, and/or Friday, Nov. 29, 2024.
• All municipal offices and courts, closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29
• All libraries, closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. Aurora Public Library no longer charges late fees on overdue items; no holds expire on closed days.
• Aurora Animal Shelter, closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. For urgent animal-related matters that cannot wait until the next business day, call 303.627.3100.
• Aurora Center for Active Adults, closed Thursday, Nov. 28; open Friday, Nov. 29
• Aurora History Museum, closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29
• Aurora Reservoir, closed Thursday, Nov. 28; open Friday, Nov. 29
• Beck Recreation Center & Indoor Pool, closed Thursday, Nov. 28; open Friday, Nov. 29
• Bicentennial Art Center, closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29

Notes:
On city holidays, payment for parking at on-street parking meters and commuter pay permit zones is not required. All other posted regulatory parking restrictions remain in effect and are enforced.
Not affected by the holiday closures are the Detention Center, Police, Fire Rescue and Public Safety Communications operations.
