More Paid Celebrity Endorsements for Kamala Revealed

Last week I shared that Vice President Kamala Harris paid leftist big shots more than $20 million to "pretend" to show support for the Vice President, including $2.5 million to Oprah Winfrey. Well, this week it was reported that MSNBC News host Al Sharpton was paid $500,000 for a "friendly interview" just weeks before the November elections. Such pay-to-play fees are unusual, if not unethical, for journalistic standards even for liberal MSNBC News. Some at MSNBC agree with my assessment, noting that "This has a bit of a dirty feel to it. These things happen and they don't bounce around MSNBC all that much. Like people just don't care. This one feels, I'd say, [like] there's a deeper disappointment. There's a sense of like, ugh, we don't need this. This feels kind of grifty and gross."

Biden Asks Congress for Another $24 Billion for Ukraine

As I mentioned in last week's newsletter, Joe Biden plans on burning through as much taxpayer money as he can to fund the deadly proxy war in Ukraine before President-elect Trump takes office in January. Case in point, this week, Biden asked Congress to send another $24 billion to supply arms to Ukraine. The not-so-secret plan is to include the aid request in the government funding legislation that Congress must pass by December 20thin order to avert a government shutdown. By now, you know where I stand on funding this senseless conflict: since the beginning, I have opposed every single penny of American taxpayer dollars to pay for this war. This time it will be no different.

Trump Not Yet Sworn In, Prompts Changes Along Arizona Border

President Trump hasn't even taken office, yet his recent election has already caused Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs to suddenly become interested in border security. She recently held a press conference in Nogales claiming she would get the National Guard involved in drug interdiction at the border. This is something that Republicans proposed over two years ago and something former Governor Ducey was doing until Governor Hobbs dismantled it when she took office.

However, now that Donald Trump has been elected and after the people of Arizona overwhelmingly voted in favor of Proposition 314 allowing Arizona police to arrest illegal aliens, Hobbs can see the writing on the wall. Arizonans are sick of open borders, drugs and human trafficking, homelessness and crime, all stemming from open borders.

Democrat Congressman Agrees with Trump's Tough Border Policies

It's not just Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs who appears to see the writing on the wall, Texas Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar noted this week that President Trump's proposed tariffs on Canada and Mexico would create "leverage needed to compel Mexico to engage in meaningful discussion to solve the complex problems surrounding immigration and drug trafficking." President Trump has rightfully noted that millions of illegals are pouring across the Mexican and Canadian borders, bringing violent crime and drugs and pledged to keep the tariffs in place until the Canada and Mexico address the problems associated with illegal immigration.

It's Mail Time!

I received nearly 5,000 letters in November, and I appreciated hearing from everyone. Here are a few of those who wrote in this week:

Jim B. from Kingman, AZ writes:

What the hell can we do about our governor? She has stated that she will not allow Arizona law enforcement [officials] to cooperate with Donald Trump's program to deport non-citizen criminals. What can we do to change her mind? She has to awaken from her woke dream.

Jim, sadly you are correct. Governor Hobbs stated that Arizona will not assist the Trump administration with its deportation operation, according to reporting by Fox News. This dereliction of duty is disgraceful. Nearly 13 million lawbreakers have crossed the border since Biden and Harris took office. Serious and respectable leaders would never stand for such widespread lawbreaking.

Not only is Hobbs' refusal an affront to the law, but it also disregards the will of the American People. More than 76 million Americans voted for President Trump and delivered him a broad mandate to secure the southern border. Americans, especially Arizonans, clearly want our immigration laws to be enforced.

One of the most essential responsibilities of government is to protect and defend the safety and the well-being of its citizens. The victimization of Americans by illegal aliens is preventable if we enforce the law. Thankfully, as noted earlier in this newsletter, Governor Hobbs seems to be suddenly interested in border security and recently held a press conference in Nogales claiming she would get the National Guard involved in drug interdiction at the border. We'll see.

Carolin F. from Surprise, AZ shares:

Please support a cease fire in Ukraine and stop Biden and his administration from sending nuclear weapons there. President Trump was elected to stop the warmongers and none of us want a nuclear WW3. Thank you for all you do and standing up for what is right.

Carolin, I completely agree with you and have repeatedly called for peace between Ukraine and Russia. I have also opposed every effort to fund this senseless war, as it has only prolonged the death and destruction. Sadly, Joe Biden recently authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied missiles to strike deeper inside Russia. This is reckless and irresponsible, and as you point out, it could very well put us on the path to World War Three.
