State Police investigate a fatal motorcycle collision on State Ro...

On November 12, 2024, at approximately 5:05 p.m., troopers from SP Rochester responded to a motorcycle vs car fatal collision on State Route 104 in the town of Webster.

A preliminary investigation revealed a 2006 Suzuki, operated by an 18-year-old male, was traveling west on State Route 104 when it struck a 2021 Dodge Ram, operated by Joel A. Violanti, age 49, of Ontario, NY, in the rear.

The 18-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene. Violanti was not injured.

This is an ongoing investigation.
