Route 28 Daylight Lane Restrictions this Week in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight single-lane restrictions on Route 28 in Aspinwall and Fox Chapel boroughs and O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, will occur Wednesday through Friday, October 2-4 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions will occur on Route 28 in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day between Delafield Avenue (Exit 7) interchange and Kittanning Pike. Crews will conduct bridge deck seal installation work.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
