Baruch College once again ranks #1 on CollegeNET's 2024 Social Mobility Index (SMI), the premier benchmark recognizing how institutions move students from low-income families into good paying jobs.

Previously, Baruch claimed the top position on CollegeNET's SMI list for seven straight years from 2015-2021, and among the top ten for more than 10 years.

The SMI evaluates 1,205 four-year colleges and universities according to how well they hold the line on tuition, enroll students from low-income backgrounds, graduate their students into good paying jobs, and apply their promotional messaging towards social mobility.
