Traffic Improvements Move Forward

Improvements to a busy Township intersection will create a more efficient, safe roadway.

The Board of Supervisors on November 7 approved Herbert Rowland & Grubic (HRG) Inc. to design improvements at the intersection of Brandt Drive and Route 19.

The project will widen Brandt Drive to accommodate an auxiliary turn lane approaching Route 19 and left lane access into the Cranberry Gardens Plaza. Sidewalks and traffic signals will also be installed to improve pedestrian safety.

The design process will take place before permitting and PennDOT approval.
