To successfully achieve these goals, the company is enhancing its potential and competencies by leveraging advanced international experience.

As part of this strategy, the national company has appointed Edwin Blom as Executive Advisor for the implementation of major capital projects. He will oversee the company's portfolio of capital projects at all stages of their execution.

Edwin Blom brings extensive experience in the energy industry, with 35 years of work across Germany, the UK, Venezuela, Gabon, Malaysia, and the Netherlands. He has had a long career at Shell, holding key leadership positions related to operational assets and the implementation of large capital projects. His achievements include managing technical disciplines, operational management, economics, and business planning, as well as overseeing health, safety, and environmental matters at the group level of Royal Dutch Shell.

From 2018 to 2021, Edwin Blom served as the CEO of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO), where he played a crucial role in successfully implementing large projects such as Karachaganak Gas Debottlenecking and managing the company during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Edwin Blom's appointment will strengthen JSC "NC "QazaqGaz"in executing major capital projects both in Kazakhstan and on the international stage.
