Public Input Opportunity Opens on Victoria’s 2025 Draft Budget

Each year, the City of Victoria's financial planning process provides an opportunity for Council to set service levels and approve an annual budget. You are invited to provide feedback on the City's 2025 Draft Budget by November 17, 2024.

The City's 2025 Draft Budget proposes to invest $365.6 million in operating costs and $94.6 million in capital improvements to continue to deliver more than 200 high-quality services and programs that Victoria residents and businesses depend on.

Visit engage.victoria.ca to see what's proposed for investment next year. You can provide written feedback by email, mail or drop-off at City Hall, or by uploading a pre-recorded video up to five minutes in length.

Budget engagement to date has included a random Ipsos telephone interview survey with 700 City of Victoria residents and a series of focused, budget community conversations co-hosted with eight, equity-seeking organizations and 86 community members they serve.

All budget feedback collected will help inform Council's budget decisions.
