On November 10, 2024, State Police of Brunswick arrested Conrad A. Graham, 27, of Bennington, VT, for Unlawful Possession of a Certain Ammunition Feeding Device, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree, Driving While Intoxicated, and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
On November 10, 2024, at about 3:30 p.m., Troopers responded to the area of Flensburg Drive in Pittstown, NY, for the report of a vehicle striking a fence post and fleeing the area. A short time later, an additional vehicle collision with a utility pole was reported in the area of Melrose Valley Falls Road in Schaghticoke, NY. The driver was identified as Graham. Following an EMS evaluation, Graham was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. After being taken into custody, an illegally possession handgun loaded with an illegal high-capacity magazine was discovered in Graham's vehicle and seized. The continued investigation determined Graham was allegedly driving the same vehicle when it was involved in the earlier hit-and-run crash that occurred in Pittstown.
Graham was transported to SP Brunswick for processing, where he refused to provide a sample to determine the alcohol content of his blood. He was then arraigned at the Schaghticoke Town Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
