Landline services, NBN internet services, and mobile coverage from other Telstra sites and providers will not be impacted. Calls to Triple Zero from a Telstra mobile while the site is off air will automatically be diverted to any other available mobile network for connection to emergency services.
If you continue to experience concerns after the above outage period, please report any faults through 13 22 00 (Telstra Faults).
Eftpos Outages:
Telstra has advised that there are some critical business applications that may be impacted while services are restored, such as Eftpos connections. Most modern EFTPOS terminals can use Wi-Fi linking into fixed network services and/or mobile service to operate effectively. If you are having trouble with Eftpos, please contact your bank for assistance.
Wi-Fi Calling:
If you have a Telstra mobile with a compatible device, you'll be able to make voice calls using your Fixed Broadband Wi-Fi connection - you can learn more via the page linked below.
