Kayak Rack Rental Lottery

In an effort to increase water access to residents, new kayak racks are being installed at Falmouth Town Landing and will be available to residents for seasonal rental. These storage racks may be used for personal kayaks only (maximum length 15 feet). Due to space constraints at Town Landing, the number of racks will be limited to 12 and will be allocated via an annual lottery.

To enter the lottery, submit an application by 4:30pm on July 10. Applications can be found at the Town Clerk's Office at Town Hall or Falmouth Police Department, 2 Marshall Drive and can be returned to either of these facilities. Applicants must be Falmouth residents. Only two applicants per household may apply. No more than one rack will be awarded per household. Storage space is non-transferable. The cost is $50 per season (July 15-October 15). A public lottery will be held on July 11 at 11:30am in the Town Council Chambers at Town Hall. Those selected will receive a sticker to affix to the watercraft. Payment must be received at the Town Clerk's Office within 15 days of selection or the storage space will be forfeited. Renters are responsible for securing and locking their watercraft. The Town of Falmouth accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal watercraft.
