Olympia Fall Arts Walk on October 4 and 5
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 4th, from 6-10pm and Saturday, October 5th, from 12-6pm for a vibrant two-day celebration of community, culture, and the arts! This Fall Arts Walk, artists, makers, and performers will showcase art of all forms-from exhibits and events to interactive activities-at more than 100 neighboring business locations, transforming downtown Olympia into a bustling hub of creativity you won't want to miss!

What to Expect:
  • Over 100 artist exhibits and events to explore: Discover new and original works of art, attend artist receptions, live demonstrations, and participate in interactive opportunities.
  • Live Performances: Enjoy music, dance, comedy, circus arts, and dramatic performances throughout downtown Olympia.
  • Outdoor Features: A 5-block downtown street closure to create a pedestrian-friendly space where people can gather, celebrate, and engage in the following amenities:
    • Activity Area: Hands-on activities for all ages, Buskers welcome.
    • Food Village: Savor delicious offerings from local food vendors.
    • Arts Market: Shop for unique, handcrafted items from talented artisans.

Announcing the Fall Arts Walk Cover Piece, "Forest Awakening" by Eileen Bochsler

Each Arts Walk, an artist is selected to create an original work of art to serve as the cover piece for event publications. This fall, the featured artist is Eileen Bochsler with her piece "Forest Awakening" in encaustic and mixed media. "My work is inspired by nature; not just the beauty I experience visually, but the serenity, wildness, and ferocity I experience emotionally. Each one of my pieces is a unique expression of that experience."
