NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 31468

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that Central Region Department of Transportation, P.O. Box 196900, Anchorage, Alaska 99519-6900 applied for a permit to appropriate water on September 14^th, 2016. The application proposes the following:

The withdrawal of water, up to 50,000 gallons per day with a yearly limit of 400,000 gallons from Black Lake, May 1^st through November 1^st each year, located within Tract B of the Black Lake Phase 1 Subdivision, Section 18, Township 17 North, Range 1 East, Seward Meridian, according to Plat NO. 85-150, Records of the Palmer Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, EXCEPT that portion granted to the State of Alaska by Warranty Deed recorded June 19^th, 1970, in Book 82, at pages 216-218.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on September 5^th, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
