Senator Warren Statement on Trump Immigration Team

Washington, D.C. - In response to President-elect Trump reportedly selecting Stephen Miller, Tom Homan, and Kristi Noem for senior roles in his incoming administration, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) released the following statement:

"It's alarming that President-elect Trump will tap a trio of loyalists to execute his extremist immigration agenda. Trump is bypassing Senate oversight to give control over mass deportations to Stephen Miller and Tom Homan - key architects of the family separation policy, which pediatric doctors called 'government-sanctioned child abuse.' With a long history of championing Trump's draconian immigration policies, Governor Kristi Noem will carry out his cruel plans without a second thought."
