Huddart Park Closures

Huddart Park Closes Early, August 21-30

From Wednesday, August 21 through Friday, August 30, Huddart Park will close early at 6 p.m. while a road improvement project is conducted at night on Kings Mountain Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Ongoing Trail & Site Closures

The following trails in Huddart Park remain closed as staff work to clear debris and repair damaged areas following severe winter storms:

• Kings Mountain Trail next to Greer Rd marker 46 to 45 (0.1 miles)
• Campground Road from marker 19 to 24 (0.6 miles)

The Toyon Campgrounds are closed and no water is running to facilities in that area of the park.

The Werder Playground near the Werder Picnic Shelter Area is closed for construction.
