Welcome to the LBPD Blotter!

As part of our ongoing commitment to external communications and providing valuable information to our community, the Department posts preliminary information about incidents that occurred the previous evening, including shootings and stabbings, as well as any other LBPD updates to the Department's homepage and on the "News" tab of the Department's website. This page will be updated as new incidents occur.

Here's a recap of incidents occurring last night:

  • Stabbing - 3300 Block of Studebaker Road - On July 29, 2024 at approximately 8:24 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Studebaker Road regarding a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers contacted a male adult victim with a non-life-threatening stab wound to the upper body. The victim declined medical treatment. Preliminary investigation indicates an unknown male adult suspect and the victim were in a verbal dispute after the suspect entered the victim's residence without permission. The dispute escalated when the suspect stabbed the victim. The suspect fled the scene prior to officer's arrival. Suspect information and the motive are under investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
