NOFA: Commemorate DC Grant

GOVERNMENT OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

OFFICE OF PLANNING

NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY (NOFA)

Commemorate DC Grant

The DC Office of Planning (OP) is soliciting grant applications for a Commemorative Works grant. With this grant, the District of Columbia seeks to increase commemoration of native Washingtonians, leaders and prominent figures of color, historic events, organizations, and cultural staples across all wards of the District. As the primary space where civic interaction occurs, the public realm informs and reflects the District's identity as a whole, while commemorative works aim to directly reflect local historic identities. These artistic works will support efforts to increase creative placemaking opportunities across wards and add to the vibrancy of the public realm by reinvigorating our streets, plazas, parks and other open spaces.
