Newton County Courts closed Friday, Sept. 27

Newton County Chief Superior Court Judge Ken Wynne issued an order for Newton County courts to be closed from 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 until 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30 due to a judicial emergency caused by Hurricane Helene.

All court deadlines, time schedules or filing requirements are suspended, tolled or extended for a duration of the judicial emergency.
