Baker McKenzie earns 151 practice and 234 individual rankings in Chambers Asia Pacific 2025

Chambers Asia Pacific has released its 2025 guide, ranking Baker McKenzie and its member firms collectively in 151 practice areas and in 234 lawyer categories. The Firm achieved 92 Bands 1 & 2 practice rankings and 107 Bands 1 & 2, Eminent Practitioner, Senior Statespeople and Star Individual recognitions.

The Firm once again has more practice areas and lawyers ranked, as well as Bands 1 and 2 rankings, than any other law firm in the region, cementing its position as 'First in Asia Pacific'.

The Firm gained a new ranking for Employment: Australia (Victoria), and saw improved ranking in eight categories: Aviation (Thailand); Banking & Finance (Singapore); Banking & Finance (Vietnam); Competition/ Antitrust (Australia); Competition/ Antitrust (Malaysia); Employment & Industrial Relations (Malaysia); Tax (Indonesia); and Tax (Vietnam).

The Firm also maintained eight Band 1 rankings in eight Asia Pacific-wide categories, including in Banking & Finance; Data Protection; Intellectual Property; Investment Funds: Private Equity; Investment Funds: Registered Funds; Islamic Finance; Life Sciences; and Technology, Media, Telecoms.

In the lawyer categories, the Firm gained 20 new individual rankings and 27 improved rankings.
