Kansas City, KS - The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas will accept public comments on its Draft 2024 Annual Action Plan through August 14, 2024.
The Annual Action Plan consolidates three entitlement grant programs into a single application that is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Community Development Block Grant ($2,208,226), HOME Investment Partnership Program ($741,711.85), and the Emergency Solutions GraFrint Program ($199,704) totaling $3,149,641.85.
The draft plan can be reviewed, and comments can be submitted at https://www.wycokck.org/Departments/Community-Development/Plans-Reports, under the 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan & Annual Action Plan page tab. Get Involved
A public input meeting is being held for the 2024 Annual Action Plan. The public meeting will be held on July 26, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at Livable Neighborhoods, 4953 State Ave., KCK 66102. Information regarding virtual participation will be posted on the Unified Government website (www.wycokck.org) and at Livable Neighborhoods.
The Unified Government will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities or those needing language access. To request accommodation, contact Human Relations 48 hours in advance at 913-573-5460.
