City's 2024 Rural Road Sealcoat Program Begins Thursday, July 25th

JULY 24, 2024 - Beginning Thursday, July 25th, 2024, the City of Bettendorf's 2024 Rural Road Sealcoat Program gets underway with its first of 12 locations scheduled for the year:

Project Locations

1. Tanglewood Road (Silver Oaks Lane to Middle Road (Old))
2. Indiana Avenue (Devils Glen Bridge to Middle Road)
3. 76th Avenue (Bettendorf City Limits to Devils Glen Bridge)
4. Barr Street (Indiana Avenue to Bettendorf City Limits)
5. 56th Street (Indiana Avenue to Bettendorf City Limits)
6. Access Road (35th Street Pump Station - 35th Street/Elm Street)
7. Depot Street (35th Street to East End of Street)
8. Indiana Avenue (Middle Road to Wells Ferry Road)
9. Middle Road (Indiana Avenue South to Spencer Creek Bridge)
10. 42nd Street (State Street South to PCC Header Near Trip City Blacktop)
11. 42nd Street (PCC Header Near Creative Fence South to Elm Street)
12. Elm Street (42nd Street West to PCC Header at Scenic View)

Crews will start with locations in the southern part of the City (first map below) and then work their way to the northern part of the City (second map below).

The Rural Road Sealcoat Program does not require any road closures and roadways can be used after work is completed the same day. The entire program is expected to be completed in two to three weeks, weather permitting.
