UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Host ‘March Into Business 2’ Workshop in Sheridan Nov. 6

Small-business owners and entrepreneurs who are veterans will have the opportunity to learn and network during a workshop Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Various speakers will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network workshop titled "March Into Business 2" from 10 a.m.-noon in the Sheridan County Public Library, located at 335 W. Alger St. To register, go here. Registration is free. The workshop is hosted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Veterans Health Administration and the Sheridan VA Health Care System.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

The workshop will cover financing a business; financing opportunities for disabled veteran entrepreneurs; cybersecurity and artificial intelligence influence; government contracting and APEX Accelerator; and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Speakers will be from VA Vocational Rehabilitation, the Wyoming SBDC Network, the U.S. SBA and the Veterans Business Outreach Center program.
