A Letter From Your Nashville Local President

Happy Summer to one and all! Can you believe it's already August!?

I wanted to give you a quick update on a few things happening at SAG-AFTRA Nashville:

• - Interviews for our new executive director are currently happening with your local President and a search committee appointed by the board of directors. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
• - The Tennessee Screenwriters Association Table Readings have commenced. Watch for emails coming your way announcing the date(s) and location and read below for information on our new program, Role Readers, where members volunteer to assist one another when readers are needed.
• - Various workshops are being slated for the rest of this year; topics to include Pro Tools, TN & KY Film Incentives, and Self-Taping. Keep an eye out for updates from your union.
• - Labor Day Parade March - September 7, 2024. "It's Better in a UNION!" Watch for an invitation to join the parade.
