UCLan is delivering a Lancashire Cyber Eco-System Programme - Management Development Workshop

In the dynamic landscape of cybersecurity, effective management is paramount.

This full day bespoke training program, designed and informed by cutting-edge research, equips professionals involved with, or connected to a digital/cyber remit, with the management skills and insights needed to enhance job quality and productivity in their organisations.

• Fully funded for Lancashire and Cumbria residents that work as cyber professionals, are managers with digital/cyber responsibility, or those with an interest in cyber security within their organisation.
• Day-long workshop - 9:30am - 4pm with refreshments and networking lunch provided.
• A pre-and post-workshop questionnaire is included to support you to make effective changes in your organisation.

Delivery Details:

• Monday 23rd September - Preston Campus
• Thursday 31st October - Burnley Campus
• Tuesday 19th November - Preston Campus

Key themes of the workshop will enable you to:

• Improve line management skills and capabilities
• Consider aspects of workforce health and well-being, particularly connected to Job design, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Pay and Benefits.
• Enhance Recruitment and Retention of the workforce
• Manage conflict more effectively

This workshop is for HR professionals, strategic leaders, or those new to management. This workshop provides practical solutions to key management topics to ensure tangible organisational impact.

The workshop is part of the Lancashire Cyber Ecosystem Support Programme that is being supported through the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
