MoDOT TRAFIC ALERT: Missouri Route 13 Pavement Improvements at Night Near Kimberling City

Where: South of Kimberling City

• Missouri Route 13 between Shoreline Lane and Kimberling Manon Lane
• Missouri Route 13 between Pokeberry Lane and just south of Sunflower Lane

When: 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. Tuesday - Friday, August 27-30 and Tuesday - Friday, September 3-6

What: Contractor crews to add a high-friction pavement treatment at various locations to help improve traction at curves. This work is part of a project to add a high-friction pavement treatment to selected curves on various routes in McDonald, Stone, Taney & Vernon Counties. The prime contractor is the Truesdell Corporation, Camdenton.

Traffic Impacts:

• South of Kimberling City
• • Missouri Route 13 between Shoreline Lane and Kimberling Manon Lane
  • Missouri Route 13 between Pokeberry Lane and just south of Sunflower Lane
• Crews will be off the road by noon on Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2 for the Labor Day Weekend
• Drivers will encounter lane closures and flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
• No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
• Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
