Brian Fitzpatrick and House Republicans Opposed Lowering Costs of Life-Saving Drug Prices for Millions of Americans

As Democrats' Inflation Reduction Act delivers lower drug prices, Fitzpatrick and House Republicans have repeatedly opposed the cost-saving legislation

Today, the White House announced that they have negotiated down the cost of 10 prescription drugs under Medicare - saving millions of Americans billions of dollars in yearly costs.

Thanks to House Democrats' historic, cost-saving Inflation Reduction Act, these price negotiations are expected to save taxpayers $6 billion and help Americans save $1.5 billion in out-of-pocket medication costs.

Not a single House Republican - including Brian Fitzpatrick - voted for this law. Even worse, House Republicans have repeatedly called for the full repeal of the landmark legislation.

Trump's Project 2025 and House Republicans' calls to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act would force millions of Americans to pay more for life-saving prescription drugs like insulin and now 10 of the country's most common and costly drugs.

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
"The Inflation Reduction Act is lowering prices of the most common and costly prescription drugs. Voters can see Brian Fitzpatrick trying to raise costs while House Democrats deliver - and that's why they will reject him at the ballot box this November."
