EBL wins ICSB gold award for the sixth time

Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL) has won the gold award at the 11th ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2023. The bank received the prestigious gold award for the sixth time. Ahmed Shaheen, Additional Managing Director, and Ziaul Karim, Head of Communications and External Affairs, Eastern Bank receive the award from Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Adviser for Ministry of Finance, Commerce, and Science and Technology at a ceremony held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on October 5, 2024. Finance Secretary Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Commerce Secretary Md. Selim Uddin were present among others.
