Two New EV Charging Stations

Beach locations go live.

Good news for electric vehicle drivers! Two new EV Charging Stations are now activated and ready to use at Surfside Beach and Jetties Beach parking lots. Both locations have 4 ports each. Check out a map below of all available Town-owned EV charging locations around the island.

Thank you to the Energy Office for their efforts in this initiative and to the Department of Public Works and local electrician Ken Howard for their help with installation and contributions.

Nantucket is committed to a sustainable future, and our electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are a testament to this commitment. Located conveniently around the island, these stations support our residents and visitors in making environmentally friendly travel choices.

Charging Made Simple

Effective December 1, 2023, the Town of Nantucket's public EV charging stations will implement a user-friendly fee system. For up to 3 hours of charging, a fair market rate of $0.30/kWh applies, managed through the ChargePoint app. Longer stays are subject to an overstay fee, ensuring availability for all users.
