The Research Misconduct webpage has been updated as part of our continued efforts to ensure integrity throughout NIH supported research activities. Users can learn more about:

  • What constitutes research misconduct, which means falsification, fabrication, and/or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results. It does not include honest error or differences of opinion.
