Christian & Greene Counties - A project to add a high-friction pavement treatment to selected curves on various routes in Christian and Greene Counties is scheduled to begin July 8, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Short sections of road will receive a special pavement treatment to help improve traction at curves.
Crews will start on Missouri Route 125. When complete, they will work on Christian County Route NN. Lane closings during daytime hours 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. U.S. Route 65 to I-44 ramp CLOSURES are during nighttime hours 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. Friday - Monday in mid-July. When Route 65 is complete, crews will work on Missouri Route 13 during daytime hours. Drivers can expect lane closings and flaggers where crews are working.
The Route 60 work will begin after the U.S. Route 60 Widening project is complete. Route 60 nighttime lane closures can be expected between 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Monday - Friday.

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
The project is scheduled for completion by October 1, 2024.
The prime contractor is Truesdell Corporation, Camdenton.
The total project cost is $1.7 million.
