MOLONG STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

MOLONG STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) advises residents construction on the new Molong Street bridge in Stuart Town will start on Monday 8 July 2024.

The estimated completion date of the project is early 2025.

The project includes the demolition of the existing wooden bridge and the construction of a new concrete bridge as well as an upgrade to the roads approaching the bridge.

The new structure will enhance safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

A detour route will be established for the duration of the project along Bell Street and Alexander Street.

Residents can keep up to date on the project by visiting the YourSay page at yoursay.dubbo.nsw.gov.au/stuart-town-molong-street-bridge-reconstruction.

Council understands that road closures are an inconvenience to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, and thanks the community for their patience while these works are occurring.
