MINISTERIAL MEETING ON THE SITUATION IN GAZA AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TWO-STATE SOLUTION AS A PATH TO A JUST AND COMPREHENSIVE PEACE

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan will participate in the Ministerial Meeting on "The Situation in Gaza and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution as a Path and Comprehensive Peace", scheduled to take place on 26 September 2024 in New York, the United States of America.

Members of the United Nations, the United Nations Secretary-General, representatives of relevant United Nations agencies, as well as members of international and regional organisations, will participate in the meeting, with the aim of advancing the implementation of the two-state solution and all other relevant peace efforts to this end.

The Foreign Minister will deliver Malaysia's National Statement to support the measures and proposals to advance all related peace efforts in the context of recognising the Palestinian State in accordance with pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Malaysia's participation in the meeting is part of its commitment and efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.
