SCDOT closes I-20 Eastbound ramp to SC 277 for emergency repairs

Columbia, S.C. (October 24, 2024)-The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed Exit 73B from I-20 Eastbound to SC 277 for emergency repairs to a damaged shoulder. The exit is expected to be reopened by Monday.

As part of this closure, a detour has been put in place. The detour will utilize Alpine Road and I-77. A map of the detour can be found below.

SCDOT encourages drivers to slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
