Public Open House for North DuSable Lake Shore Drive Phase I Study

The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) are hosting a Public Open House to discuss future improvements to North DuSable Lake Shore Drive from Grand Avenue to Hollywood Avenue in Chicago on Thursday, August 8 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

"We are looking forward to talking with Chicagoans about the future of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive and the north lakefront at the Public Open House. This meeting will serve as a chance for the public to ask questions and provide feedback about the project," said CDOT Commissioner Tom Carney. "The North DuSable Lake Shore Drive Phase I Study has been underway for about ten years, and we recognize that while some members of the public have been following it since the beginning, many have learned about it more recently. No final decision has been determined about the redesign of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive. We will continue working with stakeholders and the community to ensure it aligns with Chicago's climate and public transportation goals, and reflects the needs of all who travel to, from, and along the north lakefront."
