Drinking Water Service Announcement URGENT REQUEST WATER CONSERVATION NEEDED IN SWANSBORO

EID customers affected by the conservation request have been notified via phone and/or emailed based on the contact information EID has on file.

EID is asking all of its customers in the Swansboro service area to immediately discontinue any non-essential water use.

EID's water remains safe to use, but due to limited water supply in the Swansboro service area, water is needed for firefighting efforts at this time.

Please continue to conserve until further notice.

This is for Swansboro service area only.

Conservation includes ceasing all outdoor irrigation, not running dishwashers, clothes washers, and car washing. Minimizing usage will reduce the potential for the water system to lose pressure or completely run out of water.

By conserving, EID's customers will help reduce system demands in order to utilize water for firefighting efforts.

We need everyone's help to make this work. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
