The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), the Australian government, and SM Prime recognize female trailblazers in disaster risk reduction.
The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) Women's International Network for Disaster Risk Reduction (WIN DRR) Leadership Awards, supported by the Australian government and SM Prime Holdings (SM Prime), celebrate outstanding women DRR leaders in Asia and the Pacific. Maria Linibi from Papua New Guinea, who leads the Women in Agriculture Development Foundation and supports over 20,000 women farmers, won the 2024 WIN DRR Excellence Award, while Robyn Camille Mijares of the Philippines, with her food security advocacy, received the Rising Star Award at the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR).
