An estimated 42,000 people will be at the Tampa Convention Center for the Tampa Bay Comic Convention from Friday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25.

Drivers should expect traffic delays and increased demand in parking garages near the Tampa Convention Center on these days.

Tampa Police will be at crosswalks to assist with traffic flow.

You may also see extra traffic during these peak times for set-up and move-out:

• Thursday, August 22, 2 p.m.
• Sunday, August 25, 5 p.m.

We ask that you please allow for extra commute time.

This event is expected to bring an estimated economic impact of $5,848,846 to the City of Tampa and surrounding community.
