Volusia County Schools Extended Closure

As a reminder, all schools and district offices will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and Thursday, Oct. 10, due to Hurricane Milton. In addition, , . . All after-school activities and athletic events on these days are canceled.

We anticipate returning to our regular school calendar on Monday, Oct. 14, which is a pre-scheduled teacher duty day/student holiday. Additionally, grading period 1 will now end on Oct. 17, 2024, and grading period 2 will now begin on Oct. 18, 2024. Information will be communicated in the future about making up these instructional days.
